Anita has had an active career in music for over 37 years, as a professionally trained musician with both a bachelor and masters degree in music education. With over 31 years of experience teaching middle school and high school woodwind students in the Indianapolis area, and having been a piano teacher for twenty years, band directors, parents, and students alike will say that she knows how to teach kids!

When Anita isn’t writing, teaching or playing her instruments, she’s baking mouth-watering desserts and sweets that keep you coming back for second and even third helpings! Her cakes, cookies, and brownies are made to order and hand-delivered in the Indianapolis area. She makes cakes for any occasion and they are always the center of attention.

Anita Tiemeyer has had an active career as a professionally trained music educator. She was awarded a master’s degree in music from Butler University in 1995. With over 36 years of experience teaching middle school and high school woodwind students in the Indianapolis area and a piano teacher for twenty years, band directors, parents, and students alike will say that she knows how to teach kids! Also, Anita has accompanied her music students at the ISSMA Solo and Ensemble contests for over 36 years.
