My first new novel, A Brother for Sorrows, is now available as an audiobook! On Amazon, $21.58. and also on Amazon Audio and iTunes. Put in your earbuds, hop on your exercise bike, take a long walk, or start that road trip and have a great time listening to Kerr Lordygan narrate this fast-paced, intense drama that has a happy ending.

Also, stay tuned for my blog announcing my next book, The Guardian’s Son, soon to be released by May 31st. This is the first in this series of six and begins at a Nazi concentration camp at the end of World War II. Set in Ithaca, New York in 1945, the protagonist, Joe Kaufmann, is an orphaned Holocaust survivor who becomes the ward of an American army surgeon, Grayson Pierce. Joe’s new life in America begins in the company of three old women in the Pierce mansion who are unprepared and unwilling to accept him. Family dysfunction, bigotry, anti-Semitism, and rejection are the foundation of this conflict. However, it is all overcome with compassion, generosity, acceptance, and love. Readers will feel the angst, the hatred, the religious intolerance of the supporting characters. Yet they will engage with Joe and his guardian, Grayson Pierce, moving with them through the strife and the terrifying memories of the Buchenwald concentration camp. Christian values are at the heart of this historical novel. A reading experience that will not only entertain but also provide insight into the darkest period of the 20th century.
